Houses in disrepair being repaired

Cherwell District council, as part of a specific renovation programme, have agreed with local contractors to repair a number of previously vacant properties and turn them into affordable homes.

Houses in disrepair to homes

As part of the Build! Programme, Cherwell District council acquired three properties which had been vacant for some time and had then lapsed into a state of disrepair.  With huge pressures for housing right across the UK, especially affordable housing for first time buyers, the council decided that they should repair these houses rather than seeking space to build new homes.
